Blog HQ

I have a desktop computer so I am 'stuck' in one place when writing my blog posts and I do so envy anyone with a laptop, and therefore, mobility. Theirs is the freedom to blog from anywhere they choose!
Anyway, I have my computer in a tiny cupboard I like to call 'the computer room'.

The Computer Room

It's a very uninspiring space, cramped and isolated from the family. Therefore I decorate it with personal photos and mementoes to make it a cheerful place to be. On the wall behind my chair I have a display frame for my 12x12 scrapbook pages and I change the one on display frequently - little things please little minds they say - and it's always a splash of colour in the room.
Now you've seen where I do my Blogging you can see other people's Blog HQ's this week over at Pip's

  1. Such a cute cupboard Anne. I don't mind a desktop really, everything you need is always there.

  3. Yep, I have to agree with Jackie about the desktop. Although if you haven't got a nice space to have it, I suppose it might be a little difficult. But you've gone a long way to cheer it up for yourself! I do like that Just Play sign. Did you make it yourself, I'm wondering.
    Thanks for visiting. :o)

  4. Yes, Pam, I did make the 'Just Play' sign. I wrote a blog post a while ago about how I made it -

  5. That's a kind of Harry Potteresque computer cubby house, I think! Thank you for joining in with everyone! xx

  6. I know what you mean, I used to hate laptops but my desktop is just so big and clunky (and blimming tempremental lately) that it takes up to much of my crafting space. The day of my saving for a laptop is looming I reckon. I love your little niche though, bet it's nice and warm in the winter.
