So,taking you at your word, here's my current desk!
Yes, it really is my lap...
My latest project is crocheting a blanket and it could take a while, but I'm really enjoying the challenge. I'm following Lucy's Neat Ripple Pattern which is not complicated to do when you get the hang of it, it certainly looks very pretty after a few rows, and it's definitely addictive!
My felt 'basket' is from Paper And String ........ and for those of you who oooh and aaaah over other people's craft supplies, here's a photo to make you smile.......

Enough of me, it's time for you to mosey over to Julia's and link a photo of your desk for all of her followers to come and see. I'll be around when I've put my crochet down.
Love how the rippling is going. Gorgeous colours.

I couldn't resist clicking on the knitting shop link - a lovely new source for me! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteUsing your knee as a desk is a nice take on this, it's good to see something a bit different.
What lovely colours you have there in your ripple blanket!! I wish I had the patience for a blanket - I end up doing lots of little things just for variety.
ReplyDeleteOOh Ann, how lovely - a project that cause no mess and can be expertly done propped up on the bed...lovely. Gorgeous colours, how clever you are. Love your new blog header too - and forgive me if it's not new, am so far behind I'm almost meeting myself coming back.
ReplyDeletefirst of all love your header, I must find out how to do that, as mine is super boring at the moment and i'd love it to reflect me, as for your blanket super scrumptious colours and the pattern is gorgeous, I havent crocheted since school when we had to crochet squares to make blankets for the elderley, but your lovely blanket is tempting me back

ReplyDeleteYou do so many wonderful crafts, it's hard to keep up with you. Your blanket is going to be gorgeous. I am so used to seeing a paper layout or card or something, I thought I was in the wrong place today (grin).
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late getting around this week. I've had a hard time keeping my computer going. It just wants to freeze up every time I visit a new site and blogger hasn't helped, either. Happy belated WOYWW!
