And made up a flower in the same yarn for the neckline which is rather bare.
But I stopped at that point and the flower is only pinned on. I'm not sure I like the flower now. Perhaps I should sew a button in the middle. Or just do without it and wear a necklace!
Indecisive as ever! So, what do you think?
There are very many creative ladies out there and I really would value your opinions.
I like the flower :) Thank you for your lovely message today. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteLeave it as it is, with the flower on the neckline - I think it is absolutely gorgeous - you clever lady! I can't crochet - it's on my (ever growing) list of things I will learn to do!
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me. Maybe a scattering of little, hand embroidered lazy daisy flowers either side with little bead centres and a cluster of same beads in centre of your crochet flower to tie it all in?
ReplyDeleteI think it's wonderful, but the flower needs a little bling! do you have a fancy button, something sparkly>?
ReplyDeleteor perhaps a lone earing who's lost it's mate!
this is something I do with my own shirts too...and also for my daughter..when her favourite skirt is getting too short, but still fits at the waist line...i just add some length! with lace, or crochet...!
brilliant! eh!
have a great day!
