It's Wednesday already and time to show what's on my workdesk today - in my case it was Sunday's workdesk as I cannot craft on Wednesdays!
There's my Cuttlebug and an alphabet die I've just use on a scrapbook page, two cutting mats (one of them magnetic) and my corner-rounder tool. And the essential paper trimmer's there too.

Be assured, there's a lot more mess on the floor that I haven't shown! You can see I've been cutting circles out of red cardstock and had to have two goes at getting the ears right!
If you're nosy like me, go on over to Julia's place here to see more people's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW).

  1. I'm glad that there's stuff on the floor - an't bear to see how tidily you work! Please tell me - the magnetic cutting mat - advantages/likes?

  2. I love that purple mat ... I talked myself out of getting one when they were on QVC and looking at yours makes me want one really really really badly!

  3. Oohh it's looking very interesting today. What are the purple cutter things? I think I may need some as they look lovely! xx

  4. My desk is relatively tidy this week, but I have to say that I try not to dump things on the floor because I just KNOW that I would let it get out of hand and end up getting cross with myself when I can't find anything!! ;-)

  5. Oh is that one of those WeAreMemory Keepers corner rounders ? whats it like ? I have the 2 different size Zutter ones but they are no good for paper only thicker stuff like chipboard
    Hugs Susie xx

  6. Your desk is always bright and jolly 'coz your tools are. Loved that Lo when you posted it. Glad you liked the pups.

  7. Thanks for all your lovely comments. To answer your questions;
    Julia: the magnetic mat is great for paper cutting and it's a large size. There's a magnetic circle cutter as well that works a treat as the paper doesn't move and you can go up to 12x12! Downside is that I don't want to get ink or glue over it so I keep taking it on and off my table to keep it pristine! I imaging if you've got metal dies e.g. Nestabilities, you could get fed up trying to prise them off!
    SusieSugar: Yes, it's a We R Memory Keepers corner rounder. I think it's great. It has two sizes of corner and I've not struggled to cut anything with it yet. However, I'm only using it on cardboard and papers, I don't think it could handle thick chipboard.
    Kaz: The purple cutters come with the We R Memory Keepers Magnetic Mat and work really well on paper and card. There's a straight cutter, a circle cutter and there's also a metal ruler.
