Thanks to our Great Leader we get to rummage around everyone's workdesk again. Hop over to her blog to leave your link if you want to take part in this madness. We're a friendly crowd, just excessively nosey!
Here's my desk this week. Not too much mess but I notice that the TV remote is visible!
There's nothing new to be seen today. I'm trying not to buy anything new this year (I tried last year and failed) so you can see my purple magnetic mat and large guillotine. There's a plastic box filled with brads and a couple of small drawers with ink pads. And the scrapbook page I made with lots of spare photos that I didn't use.
Does anyone else always print too many? I have an idea in my head for the layout but it rarely turns out that way, hence the wasted photos. I also print the them out in different sizes too.
Maybe that should have been my New Year's Resolution - to only print off what I will absolutely, most definitely use!
Some lovely crafting going on here today....have a feeling we all print off in different sizes to be sure we use the best one :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.

Oh Ann I made the same new years resolution and then watched QVC yesterday and broke it, I hope you have more will power than me! Love the look of that page you are working on. Tracey x
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year - such a neat desk!
ReplyDeleteA nice creative desk.

I do that too - print out more than I need. WOYWW definitely appeals to my inquisitive nature - I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely tidy desk - thanks for sharing your space!
ReplyDeleteLove your work space, looks very organised, love your scrap book layout aswell that backing paper is fab.

If I stopped receiving sale emails and didn't look at C&C maybe I could keep the resolution too! Like the look of that mini guillotine you have.

I'm guilty of printing twice because I forgot I had printed. All the best with your resolution ... your amongst like minded people so we will understand when you break it. hehe

I'm trying not too buy too much this year as well. I think I'm setting myself up to fail. Good luck!
ReplyDeletePerhaps challenge yourself to make something else with the leftover pictures? Good luck with the resolutions! Mine was to make more crafting mess, not to hard to achieve me thinks!!

Lots of lovelyness happening on your desk. Buying no new stuff? Itried too, didn't last long, but it did make a little dent in my scrapbox.

I am also trying not to buy anything new this year. I certainly don't want any high-tech equipment. It is easy to print off too many of anything with me it is not photos but words.

good luck not buying anything...lol I might last a few weeks. Thanks for the peek and sharing. Hugs, Marjo #23
ReplyDeleteI don't make scrapbooks, but I can understand why you might print out way too many. I'm sure if you put your mind to it, you could find a use for all those extra photos. And I hope you are able to keep from buying anything this year. I say that every year, then something comes up and there I am. Of course, it's usually something I need, like glue or paint. Happy belated WOYWW from number 16.
ReplyDeleteLike you I am trying to curb my spending this year except the absolute necessities, i.e. adhesive because you can't do much crafting without it. Are you inkpads upside down - is there a reason for storing them that way I wonder. I print too many photo's too but don't go on to use them. Elizabeth #76
ReplyDeletenice busy desk this week. maybe you can just give the pictures to whoever is on them? happy WOYWW!
